Years of Experience - 8 to10 years as Database Administrator
Work Location –Bangalore
Role – Database Administrator(Individual Contributor Role)
Profile Description:
· Production DBA with experience on 24 X 7 Support of which 12 X 7 would be from India.
· Work Experience in SQL Server 2000, 2005 & 2008 environments.
· Certification on SQL Server like MCTS, MCP or OCP would be preferred.
· Experience on Backup techniques to Disk,Tape on native SQL and tools like Litespeed.
· Strong in basics of SQL Server and should be strong in TSQL Commands Used on Daily Basis.
· Performance Tuning Server and user queries to identify the bottlenecks.
· Regular Database Maintenance activities like DBCC , Healtch Check , Monitot Jobs.
· Experince on handling cluster environments like- Active/Active and Active/Passive.
· Knowledge on replication techniques like Replication , Log Shipping , Mirroring , etc.
· Good understanding on DMVs and system tables.
· Knowledge on Oracle , MySQL , DB2 would be a added advantage.
